This message dedicated to my good old nextdoor neighbors in Point Loma when I was a kid, Benny and Millie Lamb who always had Curtis Mathis TVs. Matter in fact I think this big long console in the picture is the exact one I remember them having in the 60s. It was as long as the wall. I'll say one thing I do remember .. the CM repair van was often parked out in front. But, to their defense, that was a lot of electronic equipment packed in one and all ran off vacuum tubes. Back in the 60s the TV repair vans were often in front of everyone's home. Anyway I love the fact you're keeping Curtis Mathis memories alive here. Btw our console color TV was called Sylvania which we didn't get until the late 60s. Btw what the heck is with all the choosing crosswalks and traffic lights!? Just a TAD overkill for a retro TV site.
